One thing that I have done since I began carving pipes is offering a variety of shapes and sizes. Some folks with large hands love having a nice big pipe filling their mitts as they smoke. They love the textures, smooth mouthpieces and that tactile connection. Other pipe smokers may want something on the smaller side. They love the handsfree aspect of pipe smoking and desire lighter weights and having a small pipe to slip into their shirt pockets available at a moments notice. And then there's all those medium sized pipes that fit somewhere on the scale between the two extremes.

The big pipe in the picture is just under 6" and weighs 2&1/2 ounces while the tiny pipe is 3.62" and weighs only 1/2 ounce.

Of the many pipes I make this small billiard shape holds a special place in my heart. I made many similar pipes over the years and even made one for a pipe maker friend in California this past summer. Under 5" in length and only an ounce or less yet with the same internal bowl dimensions as one of my favorite pipes. 3/4" x 1.39"

I fashioned the mouthpiece from a beautiful piece of Italian acrylic that is as wonderful to clench as it is to behold.
This would be a great pipe to tuck into the handmade leather pouch and get out there and enjoy nature and a relaxing smoke!

 More to come....

With Fall quickly approaching the pipe communities are buzzing with excitement as our favorite smoking season approaches! Fall has always given me a fresh perspective on things. The wildfires in Oregon are beginning to come under control and the cooler temps are a welcoming presence for us pipe people. My go to pipe tobacco is Autumn Evening and sometimes I will add a little burley.

Pipe production for me is going strong. I have many different nose warmer style pipes available as well. Just ask and let me find something that's a perfect fit for your pipe smoking journey. Whether you're just beginning or have been smoking for many years I have something special just for you!
