Hatfield Tobacco Pipe
$365.00
This is one of my very favorite pipe designs to make since 2013- The Hatfield. My personal take on the Devil Anse shape made popular by Bill Paxton calling Kevin Costner (you Devil Anse) in the mini series Hatfields and McCoys in which Kevin's character smoked a small canted pipe. I have made these with different finishes from hand tooled to sandblasted and my favorite, the smooth. This glassy smooth pipe has my signature dye choice of brown fading to black around the rim very organically. This block of briar wood has exceptional flame grain wrapping around the bowl and continuing down the shank with gorgeous Birdseye underneath. For the mouthpiece I wanted to make something very comfortable to clench so I used German ebonite with an integral tenon to make room for a short saddle and large enough bite zone. For me personally this is the perfect pipe for my active lifestyle! In the latest series of small pipes is this "mini" Author shaped pipe. Creating smaller pipes like this requires much more skill because the tolerances are tighter leaving less room for error. One can't simply remove more material to remove an imperfection in the wood to modify it's shape easily. For this tasty little nugget of a pipe I created a wonderfully balanced piece that is easily clenched for a handsfree smoking experience. Little Lovat Tobacco Pipe

RC (reverse calabash) Blue Tobacco Pipe
$365.00
The RC or reverse calabash picked up momentum some years ago. Known for its distinctive hollowed out shank cavity or moisture trap. As the smoke rolls around in the empty space it creates a drier smoke. Some folks even add a small piece of cotton in the chamber each time although a simple wipe down after the pipe has cooled is perfectly fine. I used to make a lot in this style of pipe so this was fun to revisit a classic shape of mine. The mouthpiece on this pipe is a real head turner! A hand cut pearlescent blue long saddle that shimmers in the light. Contrasted with a stout black egg shape stummel makes this compact piece a perfect travel companion!! Zulu Tobacco Pipe
$500.00

This coupled with a beautiful smooth rim and grain showing through the sanded areas make this handsome pipe a joy to behold! A proper large parabolic chamber follow the outside walls of the pipe so there's no portions of the bowl that become too thin especially at the bottom of the bowl. Weekend Warrior Tobacco Pipe
$355.00
This fun pipe was me trying to express what it's like for a blue collar man to go out on the town. Think dressed up with a black and white suit and still rugged underneath. I hand cut the mouthpiece from modern resin (Eldritch/Yeti) and put a faux ivory inlay for a luxurious appeal. Billiard Tobacco Pipe

There are endless combinations that I can choose to implement as well as modifying the shape slightly creating a one of a kind pipe. The general proportions of this pipe are more muscular in stature with a slightly taller bowl for a bit longer smoking experience. I chose a medium sandblast finish with a smooth band at the mouthpiece transition and a rounded smooth rim. The burnt orange dye is contrasted with a hand cut jade swirl Italian acrylic mouthpiece.
