There are many different communities of pipe smokers and most would agree that the Fall weather is very conducive to smoking pipes. There's just something so pleasant about holding a slightly warm pipe and with each puff enters the nostrils the familiar feelings of satisfaction overcome the senses. Many folks move inside to smoke their pipes as well and search through their cellars for a rich aromatic or sweet Virginia to break in the season. I have always enjoyed Autumn evening and some of my mild flakes. Perhaps one doesn't care for a full aromatic and that's fine. For me I sometimes will cut the aromatic with a straight Virginia or burley especially if it runs too moist. It's fun to experiment and see what really makes you happy.
